Results and Ground reports forms


Following the formation of the Southern League (SL) in 1969, a general inquiry in 1970 initiated by Noel Fisher showed a widespread interest among clubs tired of the surfeit of draws in ‘friendly’ cricket and looking for a competitive edge with rewards, in the form of promotion, for success.


Result forms

With two weeks of the season now completed there are still teams not returning the results forms in by the times outlined on the result form. From this week onwards fines will be issued for late submission.

Ground reports

The Hampshire League require Ground Reports from all away Captains after every match. The process is to go to The Downloads page on the website and there are 3 links to click to get into the ground report.  One is for CD1, one is for CD2 and the third is for all other divisions.  You click on the Division that you are in and complete the Ground Report and submit.  CD1 & CD2 are more detailed but the other Divisions are very quick only 3 marks required.  The Committee as mentioned at The AGM are taking Ground marks seriously and will be used as important factors in promotion or relegation at the end of the season.   Therefore it is important we receive the marks weekly.  This first Week we have had 22 Ground Reports not submitted. As you all know there is a Fine for not complying. From this weekend onwards fines will be issued for late or non submission of ground report forms.
