Overseas player looking for Club Cricket

Following the formation of the Southern League (SL) in 1969, a general inquiry in 1970 initiated by Noel Fisher showed a widespread interest among clubs tired of the surfeit of draws in ‘friendly’ cricket and looking for a competitive edge with rewards, in the form of promotion, for success.

I am Mridula Jadeja from India. I am 28yrs old professional female cricketer playing cricket from the past 13 years. I have been representing my State and Zone since 2006 in the domestic circuit in the various tournaments organised by the BCCI. I am playing Senior Womens League ever since I started playing cricket at the age of 15.

I am a right hand top order batswomen and right arm off break bowler. Am a perfect all rounder and a agile fielder. I was the captain of the under 19 Saurashtra state team for 3 years and currently have been leading the Saurashtra state senior Womens team in One day and T20 since 2014.

I have also been part of 2 National Camps and have also played the Challenger Trophy which is one of the highest ranked domestic tournament in India.

I am interested and keen on playing club cricket in England. As you know that the domestic cricket season in India starts somewhere around October I feel I could utilise the off season here by playing club cricket in England which would allow me to explore and experience the English weather and conditions. It would definitely help improve my game and add up to my experience. From what I have heard the cricket culture in England is very different from India and hence playing in England would give me a different kind of exposure from what I have been playing for more then a decade here.

It would be an priviledge to be able to play for your club and interact with the players and share their experiences and stories.

Kindly have a look at my profile below. I have attached a few links which contains my detailed stats

Hoping for a quick reply.

Thank you.
