Charity T20 @ Trojans in aid of cancer research

Following the formation of the Southern League (SL) in 1969, a general inquiry in 1970 initiated by Noel Fisher showed a widespread interest among clubs tired of the surfeit of draws in ‘friendly’ cricket and looking for a competitive edge with rewards, in the form of promotion, for success.

A charity T20 match will be held on Sunday 28th July at Trojans Cricket club to raise money for cancer research. There will be BBQ and a prize draw. Start time 1pm.

Prizes donated by AKD, a father & son cricket  bat refurbisher are:

1st Prize: AKD grade 1 English Willow cricket bat

2nd Prize: Puma size 10.5 cricket bowling boots.

3rd Prize: Full bat refurbish and cricket cap.
